Leisure Centres Vs Swimming Pools?

What is the difference between the two? Which one is best for you? Can you swim at both? Well lets try and answer these questions for you....

Swimming at leisure centres

Lets look at some tips to see what a leisure centre can provide for us.......

	Both public swimming pools and public leisure centre are funded by local councils.
	A leisure centre may have a swimming pool as well as other facilities such as a gym, football pitches and tennis courts.
	Normally public swimming pools are just that, a swimming pool but some will have other facilities.
	In short the best place to find out is your local council; they will let you know of all the available facilities at your local pool or leisure centre.

At both a council swimming pool and lesuire centre you will most often pay per visit and this will be cheaper than a health club, where you will normally have to take out a contract of up to 12 months. However now alot of councils are providing FREE swimming at a number of council pools which makes swimming a great and cheap activity to enjoy.
