Tools To Help You Look After Your Pool

You will need a few basic tools to look after your pool, I recommend buying a kit that will have all these tools included and can save you money. A GREAT idea if you ask me.

Right lets have a look at the tools……

1)The Skimmer

It doesn’t get much more basic than this. A Skimmer is a long pole with a net on the end, designed to scoop out leaves and other floating stuff. Technical hey!!

2)A Vacuum

Removes dirt from the bottom of your pool, you can even get a robotic one that does the work for you. Now that’s what I call a tool.

3)Brush on a pole

Technical stuff hey.... This tool is used to scrub the walls and floor of your pool to get rid of those invisible algae which hide there.

3)Testing Kits

Used to test the water for the various chemicals needed in your pool. See What testing is needed on my pool?

4)Maintenance Chart

Simple and can be homemade. Its basically a dairy of maintenance, PH testing results, Chlorine testing results etc….

When did I last Clean the filter? – Check the chart

What pressure should my water pressure be at? – Check the chart, easy hey!!

Try doing some research on these tools, ask around, get advice from the experts, and you will get the right tools for the job.
